When you see Client Notifications

The Client Notifications tab (or Student Notifications for education businesses) appears when you have at least one one-time service or event. It is for messaging people who booked those events, not for recurring class reminders.

View existing notifications

  • Open Client Notifications in the sidebar.
  • The list shows one-time events that have a notification attached.
  • Each row links to the event and shows schedule or message summary.
  • Edit or remove a notification from the actions on that event.

Create a notification

  1. 1Select Create Notification.
  2. 2Choose the one-time event or service this update applies to.
  3. 3Enter a clear title and message body.
  4. 4Set the type of update if your form asks for it (for example schedule change or general update).
  5. 5Add an attachment link or file URL if clients need a document or external page.
  6. 6Choose whether to send to all ticket holders for that event.
  7. 7If you use profile display, set start and end date/time for when the notice shows on your public vendor page.
  8. 8Save and use preview if available before you rely on the message going out.

Writing effective notifications

Be specific and actionable

State what changed, what clients should do next, and any new date, time, or location. Short messages work better than long paragraphs.

  • Use notifications for schedule changes, venue updates, or important reminders.
  • Remove or update outdated notifications so your public profile stays accurate.
  • Pair with Bookings to see who is affected before you send a mass update.
